Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the SingMyVoice mobile app (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please uninstall the app.
We may update these terms occasionally — see Section 14. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm you’re old enough to form a binding agreement under your local law.
3. Account Registration
You sign in with Google. You’re responsible for keeping your Google account secure — if someone else accesses your Google login, they can access SingMyVoice too.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
SingMyVoice operates on a monthly subscription model. Three tiers are available:
- Starter — $4.99 / month · 20 songs per cycle
- Creator — $14.99 / month · 80 songs per cycle
- Studio — $29.99 / month · 200 songs per cycle
Each plan includes a 3-day free trial. Trial users can generate one song per day during the trial period and create one voice clone.
Auto-renewal — Your subscription renews automatically each month at the listed price until you cancel. Google Play notifies you before each renewal where required.
Cancellation — Cancel anytime from Google Play → Settings → Subscriptions. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
Refunds — Refunds are handled by Google Play per their refund policy. We don’t process refunds directly.
Price changes — We may adjust prices for future renewal periods. You’ll get notice in-app and via Google Play before any change affects your billing.
5. User Content
Your voice — Voice samples you record belong to you. By recording, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to process and store the samples for the limited purpose of operating the Service (training the voice persona, generating songs, storing the persona for your future use). This license ends when you delete your voice clone or your account.
Voice clone lifecycle: Your voice clone (persona) is held by our AI model provider for up to 14 days from creation. After that period, the persona is permanently deleted by the provider and you’ll need to create a new voice clone to keep generating songs. This is intentional — we don’t hold biometric data longer than necessary. You can always re-create a voice clone from the app in under a minute.
Your songs — Songs you generate are yours. We don’t watermark them or claim royalties. You can share them, sell them, remix them — anything.
Important caveat — AI-generated music involves underlying model providers (currently Suno V5.5 via KIE.AI). Your rights to use generated songs are subject to the terms of those providers. To the best of our knowledge, SingMyVoice-generated songs are watermark-free and available for commercial use, but model providers may update their terms; we’ll notify you in-app of any material change.
Prohibited content — Don’t use the Service to:
- Clone someone else’s voice without their explicit consent.
- Generate songs in the style of, or using the voice of, any identifiable artist or public figure without permission.
- Generate hate speech, harassment, sexual content involving minors, or content that incites violence.
- Impersonate real people for fraud or deception.
- Generate content that infringes third-party copyrights or trademarks.
- Circumvent moderation, rate limits, or other safety controls.
We’ll suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Intellectual Property
Our IP — The app, brand, source code, design, and marketing copy belong to SingMyVoice. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or reverse-engineer them except as the law allows.
Your IP — Your voice samples, your prompts, and the songs you generate are yours. We only use them as needed to run the Service (see Section 5).
Third-party IP — The AI models powering generation belong to their providers. Our license to those models doesn’t transfer to you; what transfers is the output you generate.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
- Scrape, mirror, or otherwise reproduce the Service for redistribution.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, or billing.
- Resell access to the Service.
- Interfere with the operation of the Service or other users’ enjoyment of it.
8. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and associated data, use Profile → Delete account in the app.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or if continuing to provide service to you exposes us to legal risk. We’ll give you reasonable notice when we can.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that should reasonably survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution) survive.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind — express, implied, or statutory. AI-generated output is unpredictable; some songs will sound great, others won’t. We don’t guarantee a specific result for any generation.
We don’t warrant the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use it at your own discretion.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SingMyVoice and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total cumulative liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations — in that case, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by your local law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
- Voice samples you recorded without proper consent.
- Content you generated that infringes someone else’s rights.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where SingMyVoice’s operating entity is registered. The specific jurisdiction will be added here once the company entity is finalized; until then, disputes will be handled in good faith via direct contact.
13. Dispute Resolution
We’d rather work things out directly. Before filing any formal claim, email us at support@singmyvoice.app and give us 30 days to respond.
If we can’t reach a resolution, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in the jurisdiction listed in Section 12, unless your local consumer-protection law gives you a non-waivable right to court action.
You and we each waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration with respect to disputes arising under these Terms, except where prohibited by law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be surfaced in-app (you’ll see an “Updated Terms” prompt before continuing). The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
